Native American Heritage Month Spotlight on Stewart Community Chairman Blain Osorio
I’m Blain Osorio, I have grown up here in the Stewart community since its conception. I did not plan on being the Chairman. I wanted to join the community council, hoping to make a positive change within our communities’ youth program. But now as the Chairman, I am not only trying to make a positive change within the Stewart community, I am trying to make a positive change in all of our communities. Now I have my own family, raising them in the same house I grew up in. I have twin daughters Alice and Cyann, they are so much fun and are in their terrible 2’s. I work for my Tribes education department, as an education advisor at Carson High school. I really like what I do and I’m always willing to help.
